Uprooted: Rediscovering American history

Wednesday, March 25, 2026, 11:00 a.m. — 1:00 p.m. EDT
The Brookings Institution, Falk Auditorium
1775 Massachusetts Ave, NW, Washington, D.C., 20036

The Race, Prosperity, and Inclusion Initiative at Brookings is launching a new series, “Uprooted: Rediscovering American History,” highlighting the narratives, contributions, and policies championed by marginalized groups that have helped shape a more inclusive democracy.

On March 25, join RPII at Brookings for a two-panel discussion featuring insights from the project’s lead researchers. Panelists will explore the major themes of the project and offer timely analysis of current issues through a historical lens, identifying emerging pathways to advance racial equity.

This event will be open to attend in-person or watch online.
