The Department of Sociology at George Washington University seeks a one-semester Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology in our Human Services & Social Justice Program in Spring 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching three courses. Assigned courses may include Introduction to Human Services & Social Justice and Social Change and Public Policy. Assigned courses may include service-learning components.

Minimum qualifications: Applicants must have completed the Ph.D. in sociology, social work, or a closely related field by date of appointment.

Salary: $32,500.00
