SJSU Assistant Professor Position in Chicanx/Latinx Experiences, Law, and Policy

"The Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies is seeking an Assistant Professor specializing in Chicanx/Latinx Experiences, Law, and Policy, beginning August 2027. We welcome scholars working across Chicana/o Studies, legal studies, public policy, immigration, criminal justice, social justice, community-engaged research, racial equity, and related interdisciplinary fields.

"This is a particularly exciting opportunity to join one of the nation’s pioneering Chicana/o Studies departments, with a long history of scholarship, teaching, and community engagement. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley and the Bay Area, SJSU offers rich opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and engaged scholarship addressing issues affecting Chicanx/Latinx communities in California and beyond.
